Ben is a London-based documentary filmmaker and writer exploring life on society’s edges through a gonzo, fly-on-the-wall style. His award-winning work captures subcultures with raw immediacy and empathy, often blurring the lines between reality and performance.
Ben co-directed the acclaimed documentary Always Fast, Hardly Accurate and the narrative short Through the Stew (with Sal Redpath), which blends poetic realism with documentary authenticity. He has also created visually striking music videos and branded content for leading clients including Domino Records and Ermenegildo Zegna, bringing his distinctive, character-driven approach to the commercial sphere.
Driven by a fascination with people living beyond the margins, Ben’s films challenge social conventions while maintaining a cinematic intimacy and humanity. He is currently developing new documentary and narrative projects exploring rebellion, identity, and survival in modern Britain.
